MSU Alumni Career Services 
Finding a new job can be an uphill battle for many former athletes.  Use of MSU Alumni Career Services can make the task easier.  Proven results for MSU alumni and employers are their objective.
 
  A  RESUME DATABASE is provided so you may post your resume for review by prospective employers with special interest in hiring former MSU athletes.  Membership in the MSU Alumni Association, which included membership in your college constituent group and your local MSU alumni club, is required for posting your resume.

As a member of the Michigan State University Football Players Association (MSUFPA), list MSUFPA on your resume so employers can easily find you. 

  A JOB LISTINGS DATABASE is offered so prospective employers can seek former MSU athletes.  Employers can post their own job openings directly on this web site or send their employment opportunities to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it so former MSU athletes can see them. Membership is required.
Registration is required the first time an employer lists job openings to select a UserName and Password. This service is FREE to prospective employers. After registering, employers can search the resume database for applicants that match their interests.
As members, former MSU athletes may subscribe for job listings received in multiple job categories. Then when new job openings are posted to your Job Categories, you are immediately notified by email

RESUME CRITIQUE is an option available to MSU Alumni Association members.  To utilize this service, alumni may email resumes to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and then request a date and time for a critique by phone or to schedule an appointment for a personal visit.

For access to the MSU Alumni Network, a list of MSU volunteer leaders in regional clubs throughout Michigan, the United States, and worldwide is provided.  Email addresses are listed when available.  Former MSU athletes may contact these alumni club volunteers to see if they are willing to distribute cover letters and resumes to MSU alumni living in their geographical areas.  Of course, membership in the MSU Alumni Association is required, which includes membership in a regional club.

 
MSU alumni and friends of MSU may JOIN the MSU Alumni Association ONLINE or by calling (517) 355-8314; or toll free at (800) 353-5646. Spouses may become members too for a small additional charge.  When you  JOIN ONLINE, you may immediately begin using benefits of membership, including MSU Alumni Career Services.
