Dear Spartan Fan:

The Spartan Football Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, December 18, at the Holiday Inn South Lansing Convention Center.

Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 p.m. (a cash bar will be available) and the player introductions/program will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.

As usual, we will have the video and awards show along with a silent auction with some special items. Also, The Tradition Continues - Spartan Football will be available for purchase.

Individual tickets are $45 each. Please be advised that seating priorities at the banquet are determined by Spartan Fund club levels, Downtown Coaches Club membership, MSUFPA, football banquet ticket purchasing history, and date received. If you plan to attend, fill out the attached ticket application and return as soon as possible as we anticipate a sellout.

If you wish to spend the night, you may contact the Holiday Inn South Convention Center (517-694-8123) directly for room reservations and information. They are holding a limited number of rooms @ a rate of $89.00 for this event so be sure to tell them you are attending the banquet.

We hope to see you there!

About Us

The MSU Football Players Association (MSUFPA) is an organization that was formed in midyear 2004 and was given its birth by Head Coach John L. Smith. It wasn’t until the beginning of 2005 that the association got functioning, but when it did a strong force was created within the family of Spartans and a tradition had begun. The purpose of the Association is to perpetuate the Spartan football tradition and to enhance the success of the MSU football program. Our goal is to sustain a working relationship and to provide a network of communication to link the membership with the existing football program.
